For many students, college admissions can be unnecessarily overwhelming, confusing and difficult, but not at AMU. We’ve taken every step to ensure that your admissions experience is as easy and stress-free as possible. HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Complete the online application. There’s no application fee.
  2. Request an official copy of your high school/college transcript(s) to be sent to transcripts@avemaria.edu.
  3. Request that your (Ave Maria’s SAT school code is 4249), (Ave Maria’s ACT school code is: 6212), or test scores be sent to AMU.
  4. Schedule an interview with your admissions counselor. Check your email for an invitation!
  5. Begin the Financial Aid Process
  6. Make Deposit Now

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

To be eligible for regular undergraduate admission to the University, students are expected to meet the following standards:

  • Complete the 鶹ý undergraduate application.
  • Complete admissions interview with an admissions counselor (can be in-person or virtual).
  • Standardized test scores are not required for admission consideration for the 2024 admission cycle. However, submission of test scores is recommended and can make an applicant more competitive for admittance and scholarship awarding.

The University considers all of the above factors in reaching an admissions decision. The University reserves the right to administer placement tests to admitted students in order to improve the advisement process, ensure placement in the correct course, and enhance the probabilities for student success.

AFTER ACCEPTANCE

  • Congratulations! Expect your acceptance folder in the mail outlining the next steps that you will take to become part of the 鶹ýfamily.
  • Submit your non-refundable $300 Enrollment Deposit. This gives you priority in scheduling your classes and guarantees a place in the dorms for students who will be residents.
  • Information regarding New Student Orientation, 鶹ýresidential living, roommate selections, student insurance, viewing your class schedule and bill payment will be sent to deposited students after May 1st.
